The Californian Is A Hot Dogger’S Delight That Stays True To Robin Kegel’S Shaping Philosophy. This Model Has The Wide Point Set Just Slightly Back From Center And Keep A Fairly Full Width Through The Nose And Tail With The Last Several Inches Of The Tail Swooping Into A Narrower Squash Tail. Look Carefully At The Deck And You’Ll Notice A Very Subtle Step Deck Dropping Down About Two Thirds Of The Way Up Towards The Nows. The Bottom Contours Start Out Flatter In The Nose And Progress Into A Light Roll With A Slight Hint Of Rolled Vee Towards The Tail. The Rocker Profile Has A Healthy Amount Of Kick In The Nose And Tail And The Curve Of The Rocker Is Pushed Forward For The Nose And Backward For The Tail. The Rail Foil Is Slightly Boxy And Forgiving. This Is An Excellent All Around Log Made For Tasteful Noseriding And Banking Beautiful Turns Off The Tail.
